An excellent vintage mens blazer jacket from the early 90s by luxury Italian fashion designer, Gianfranco Ferre. Ferré was one of the most renowned designers of the late 20th Century, serving as Dior's creative director from 1989 to 1996. He was known for his usage of opulent fabrics and this jacket is a great example, in a dark tan / brown virgin wool and cashmere blend.
Made in Italy, it has a typically Italian ventless design to the rear with single breasted buttons to the fabric. Like the best menswear, the devil is in the details - from the hand top stitching on the slightly wider notch lapels to the ornate silver kissing buttons on the cuffs that match the front buttons.
